If we prepare nanoparticles and these particles apply to next systems, we can obtain new materials with the unique properties. Zinc oxide nanoparticles are generally very advanced material in terms of its applications. This oxide has broad usage in different areas of practice ? e.g. sunscreens, biosensors, food additives, pigments, rubber production, electronic materials, car and textile industry. ZnO has also very interesting photocatalytic, piezoelectric and antibacterial properties. Several methods were described for synthesis of zinc oxide nanoparticles in literature ? e.g. sol-gel method, chemical vapor deposition, gas-phase reaction, hydrothermal or solvothermal process, synthesis with microwave heating and other. Our attention was oriented to preparation of nanoparticle zinc oxide with suitable physical and chemical properties and acceptable price.
