Antimicrobial activity of polymer nanodispersion systems against Bacteria and Fungi. 3rd International Conference on Nanotec&Expo
Original language description
Encapsulated nanodispersion biocidal systems will be used in the industry for the production of environmentally friendly paints for roof tiles. In this report, we demonstrate the antimicrobial activity of polymer nanodispersion systems against bacteria and fungi. Microbial strains from the collections of microrganisms and the environment were used for testing. The results of this study revealed that different bacterial and fungal strains may differ in resistance to biocides. Six of 23 samples tested showed biocidal activity against all test microorganisms.
