High-performance fiber-reinforced concrete (HPFRC) can be used to build light bulletproof structures because even its thin layer can prevent projectile perforation. However, when uncoated, the pieces of debris may break off the structure during a projectile impact. The resulting secondary fragments can cause personal injury or damage to property in the structure surrounding.
