Original language description
The paper deals with the problems concerning the cam production by grinding technology in relation to the CNC machine control system. Cam production is a specific field in both the theoretical preparation of production data and the production technologyon the grinding machine itself. In the final phase, those aspects of the technical preparation of production are realized in the control system of grinding machine. The technological and system requirements predestinate cam production machines as single-purpose, which presents a unique design and a unique CNC control system. The control system is proposed on a software and hardware (SW and HW) platform of components from Yaskawa, a Japanese company. Furthermore, there are outlined connections of the CNCcontrol system with electronic cams that are built on the same HW and SW platforms.
