    The invention relates to the measurement method of mutual distance of two repulsing and mutually moving magnets (4, 5) combined in Halbach fields (2, 20, 3), during which the Hall voltage characterising magnetic induction generated by an influence of themagnetic field is verified. The Hall voltage is measured in the zone of the magnetic field neighbouring with the passive side (26) of the Halbach field (2, 20) forming an adjustable magnet (4). The invention also relates to the equipment for performanceof this measurement.
