Original language description
Requirements for increasing productivity bring a serious problem in the applications of step mechanisms. This is disturbing residual vibrations in the rest area of step displacement laws. That is, a technological machine function goes on in the rest area. Real mechanisms in their driven part are often highly compliant due to the justified construction of a mechanism for many reasons or due to the used jig. The paper deals with the issues of driving compliant systems with one main natural frequency in implementations of non-periodic or step displacement laws that are implemented with electronic cams. This is one method to minimize residual vibrations the paper is involved in. Electronic cams have their advantages in a flexible change of displacement laws (flexible automation), and therefore, the described method is suitable for the application.
