Original language description
This work is aimed at verifying the accuracy and elaborateness of rapid prototyping using the means available in our department. Verification was performed on a simple shape part which was primarily designed for a 3D printer. The designed part was printed by means of a 3D printer (FFF technology) and through digitalization with the help of a laser scanner it was converted back to a parametric model in SolidWorks. In such a way, the accuracy of the scanned data and the work intensity of transfer (conversion) of STL points back to a parametric model were verified. Furthermore, it was carried out a comparison of the scanned part with the original CAD design in which the dimensional stability of 3D printing was tested.
