Discretization of mechanisms with flexible links
Original language description
Since many real bodies under operation conditions behave more or less as flexible, it is often necessary to respect this fact in computation models. In addition to so-called "large" geometrically nonlinear motions, elastic bodies also perform "small" movements resulting from their deformations, which are superimposed onto large movements. The large movements are referred to the movements that are comparable to the movements of bodies being modelled as rigid.
