The issue of cam displacements is one of the most important chapters in terms of kinematics and dynamics. We usually prescribe the displacement for the working link of the mechanism. Various requirements are placed on the working movement from the point of view of a particular manufacturing technology and the choice of the displacement of the working link must therefore correspond to the desired technological function. It is important that the source of the motion function of the working link is a basic cam mechanism or a servomotor that kinematically excites the dynamic system of the machine mechanism. In a real machine, it has the form of a working mechanism with flexible members and joints.
