This chapter deals with the possibilities of connecting the digital measurement system of DMU PCI angles developed in VÚTS Liberec a.s. to the commercially supplied electronic cam system of the company Yaskawa. The connection and mutual cooperation of the two systems is particularly desirable for the implementation of the fully closed position/speed control loop or for finding correction parameters to ensure a minimum position error of electronic cams. There is also a real possibility of using these systems to detect and minimize residual oscillations of drives with electronic cams.
