Yarn Tension Control During Weaving Process

  • Original language description

The aim of this paper is to provide information about a yarn tension control of the air-jet weaving machine. The stability and robustness of the con-trolling method of tension is important for the continuous weaving process. The measuring and controlling the tension of warp’s thread is not simple during weav-ing, where the shed is moving and the batten mechanism generates impulses to yarn. However, the quality of the fabric is dependent on the weaving tension. Finally, the goal is to suppress the shed moving tension impact and the quality of yarn spinning and does not react to the batten mechanism. The results are from integration of control to PLC and measured on the real machine.
