Plastics are extensively used in automotive industry. A lot of part of nowadays cars are made from plastics both outside and inside of the car. Different applications set different demands on the surface properties of the plastic parts. To fulfil these demands the surface of the plastic must be special treated. The modern technology of surface modification of plastics is plasma technology.
