Original language description
The study analyses a new principle of the regulation of the tensile forces in doubled yarns during the winding process on automatic cross-winding machines. The devised equipment makes use of two comb tensioners, interconnected mechanically. The solutionis aimed to achieve approximately equal values of the tensile forces in the two doubled yarns. A calculation of the output tensile forces has been elaborated. The theoretical results have been verified on a real mechanism, and the required regulation values have been achieved.
