Physical and chemical deposition methods of layers from vapour phase PVD (Physical Vapour Deposition) a CVD (Chemical Vapour Deposition) have big sense in modification of metal surface.Primarily are used for production of hard, abrasive and corrosive resistant layers of carbides, nitrides and metal oxides on metal alloys.Thin coatings is possible to use as protective layers for medicine (biocompatibility), industry (friction properties), jewellery (function and decorative layers on surfaces of jewelleryproducts) andfor modification of nanofibres surface.

Fyzikální a chemicvké depoziční metody vrstev z plynné fáze PVD a CVD mají velký význam při modifikacikovových povrchů. Primárně se pouřívají pro výrobu tvrdých, otšru a kriozi vzdorných vrstev karbidů, nitridů a kovových oxidů na kovových slitinách.Tenké povlaky lze použít jako ochranné vrstvy pro nedicínu (biokompatibilita). průmysl (třecí vlastnosti), bižuterii (fukční adekorativní vrstvy na povrchu bižuterie)a pro modifikaci povrchu nanovláken.
