"Cast iron as a ""composite"" of steel matrix and graphite filler. Mass production semiproducts of safety parts cars and rail vehiles are always predominantly cast iron castings. Contradictory requirements for machining and safety narrow considerably mechanical properties tolerancy. Standard description of matrix and graphite structure properties e.g. after EN 945 is not satisfactory. Physical descrition of graphite structure by sound velocity or elasticity modulus, of matrix by hardness, coercitive force or remanent magnetisms intensity. The expression of this description in the plane using bidimensional tensile strength or yield strength vectors opens new useful sequencies for production metallurgy. Rapid feedbacks to support of narrow tolerancy of resulting material quality."

"Litiny jako ""kompozit"" z matrice oceli a plniva grafitu. Polotvary hromadné výroby bezpečnostních dílů automobilů a kolejových vozidel jsou stále litinové odlitky. Protichůdné požadavky na obrábění a bezpečnost velmi zužují tolerance mechanických vlastností. Standardní popis vlastností struktury matrice a grafitu např. dle EN 945 nestačí. Fyzikální popis struktury - grafitu rychlostí zvuku či modulem pružnosti, matrice koercitivní silou či intenzitou zbytkového magnetizmu. Vyjádřit tento popis v rovině formou dvourozměrného vektoru pevnosti v tahu či meze kluzu přináší nové užitečné souvislosti k výrobní metalurgii. Rychlé zpětné vazby k podpoře úzké tolerance výsledné jakosti materiálu. "
