The linear expansion compact moulding and core mixtures is once from decisive a property of forms or of cores at castings formation in foundry form. The linear expansion following is however very difficult because there is needed special measurement equipment let us say dilatometer. This article deal with following thermal expansivity at compact samples of foundry mixtures. There is described innovate a measurement equipment for measure of linear thermal expansion. Furthermore there is interpretation ofmeasured values. Recently we deal with following problems of dilatation properties of choice forming and core mixtures in our workplace - Department of Engineering Technology, Technical University of Liberec. At present there is following linear thermalexpansion of mixture with opening material Střeleč and binder Novanol 165.
