Original language description
Simulations of technological processes are of an increasing help when searching for appropriate technological procedures. Welding technologies make no exception in this respect. However, to ensure that the resulting simulations correspond to real situations, it is necessary to acquire a big number of input data. Apart from the material input data, which need to be expressed in the form of temperature dependence, we still need to take into account a big amount of data to define a mathematical descriptionof the heat source. These data mainly include: welding current and tension, welding rate and efficiency of the heat transfer into the base material. Temperature dependence of the heat transfer coefficient is another very important data to acquire. The present paper is dedicated to the monitoring of such quantities as well as their further application during fusion welding simulations.
