Sonic welding is thanks to high process productivity and flexibility one of the most applied method for plastics welding. The weld quality is influenced by many factors like types of welded materials, parts shapes and among others also by technological parameters of welding process. This paragraph is focused on the influence of very important technological parameters ? vibration amplitude and a welding gap on the weld quality characterized by the weld strength and dimensions. Measuring were realized onmaterial Bayblend T65 (PC/ABS).
