On the basic mechanical properties of thin metal sheets have great influence a lot of technological conditions during their testing. Among the most important of these conditions belong undoubtedly testing temperature and loading speed. With changing loading speed of testing samples is changing also strain rate during testing. One of the methods how to measure strain rate is using contact-less optical system. In the paper are described conclusions from measuring strain rate for deep-drawing material using for car-body design. Loading speed was chosen from 2 m/s to 5 m/s. To determinate of strain rate was used optical measuring system ARAMIS 2M. Main aim of paper is to shown measured results to scientific community.
