Simulation of the transmissibility of the non-linear materials

Result description

The seating comfort depends on non-linear behavior of the polyurethane foam and covering material. This paper is about analysis and simulation of the transmissibility characteristics of those materials. Gain and phase depends mainly on visco-elastic behavior of polyurethane foam. The main aim i to analyze dynamic behavior and optimize strain and pre-stress of polyurethane foam and covering material. Virtual testing of materials enables simplier development of seats and economises time and financial resources
