Using Step Motor in Dynamic Application

  • Original language description

The paper deals with the capability of using step motors with feedback loops in dynamic applications. The study is built on the project of improving productivity of special sewing machine. The first chapter outlines differences between a step motor and aservomotor. Further, the step motor is designed for the particular conditions. On this motor it is performed a measurement of the accuracy under the dynamic load with the help of the test equipment. In the end the results of the measurement is discussed. The paper is intended to describe the problem in general.
