Article focuses on the possible use of computer simulation and optimization algorithms in the field of the manufacture operative planning. There are defined basic principles of this modern way to support decision making on the level of the foreman. Thereare presented possible uses of this method and there is made brief comparison with traditional scheduling with priority rules on theoretical model. Finally, evaluation of benefits and problems given by the use of optimization methods is made.
