Influence of welding velocity regulation on the welded joint quality at the ultrasonic welding of plastics
Original language description
Ultrasonic welding has many applications in industrial production. This method of plastic parts welding is used in large series production of the automotive industry because of the high speed process. The welding velocity has a significant influence on the final quality of welded joint. This paper deals with two ways of welding velocity regulation and their influence on the weld quality of part from polyamide. The quality of welded joint is determined by maximum force that causes the destruction of joint.
