Original language description
One of possible technologies for production of products consisted of more materials is overmolding. In comparing with conventional technologies with following linking of two materials allows this technology saving the assembly or additional operations costs. Easier production of complex shapes is also the advantage. General problem of overmolding is bad adhesion between different materials. This paper describes the influence of etching the glass inserts overmolded by different conditions on the adhesionof Polypropylene.
