Original language description
This article is focused on new possibilities of cooling the injection moulds, especially cooling by means of CO2 (Spot cooling). Plastic parts quality depends on the polymers, the technology parameters, the tools and the machines. During injection of thethermoplastics the final injection moulding quality is dependent not only on the filling process of the mould cavity but also on the velocity and the cooling progress. There is described measurement of temperature fields by means of a thermo vision camera in this paper. Knowledge of temperature fields distribution is important due to the deformation, shrinkage and warpage of plastic parts.
