Flexible job shop scheduling and optimizing by genetic algorithm in the Simcron MODELLER
Original language description
Article focuses on the possible use of computer simulation and optimization algorithms in the field of the manufacture operative planning. There are described basic principles of flexible job shop scheduling and its modeling inside Simcron MODELLER simulation software. Further, genetic algorithm is tested on theoretical models. That contains time required to construct the model, ability to get optimal schedule and time of optimization by genetic algorithm. Other possibilities of flexible job shop scheduling are also discussed.
