Influence of force a trigger on weld strength at ultrasonic welding of plastics
Original language description
Ultrasonic welding is very famous technology for strong joins of plastics materials in industrial production. The ultrasonic welding of plastics is very often use for example in automotive and aerospace industry, in medical, and packaging in this time. The welded parts have to be held together under pressure and are then subjected to ultrasonic vibrations usually at a frequency of 20, 30 or 40 kHz. Some few parameters have important influence to weld strength. These are type of material, kind of weldingtechnology and of course, welding parameters have too a important influence on the weld strength. The main welding parameters are welding velocity, welding time, welding distance, force a trigger (welding force, press), welding amplitude and frequency during ultrasonic welding of plastics. The aim of this paper is find out a influence of force a trigger (by another name welding force, press) to weld strength of plastics parts.
