Seated human body is always injured due to mechanical vibrations. One of possibilities how to describe the lavel of mechanical vibration impact on human body in the energy balance in contact area on the comfort layer.Dissipated energy of the comfort layer is the next parameter for comfort classification and for automobile seat comparison. The methodology of dissipated energy evaluation is used for three polyurethane specimens with different density, stiffness and hardness.
