Investigation of Fin Corrugation Effect at Plate-fin Heat Exchanger
Original language description
This article deals with the numerical simulation of the heat exchanger fins of the floor heating convector. Two different shapes of the fins are examined ? sinusoidal and angular in a wide range of Reynolds number. The geometry of the model consists of two fins with the gap between, which represents the slice of the heat exchanger inside the convector. Because the heating output of the convector is sufficient, work is focused on the cooling mode. The objective of the work is to compare cooling effects of sinusoidal and angular fin.
