Original language description
This paper deals with the problematics of Rapid Prototyping technologies (RP). They are used mainly in processes of development in mechanical engineering. The article describes two technologies, which are used at TUL FS KVS. These technologies are FDM ?Fused Deposition Modelling and 3D Print ? Polyjet. Both of them are based on the principle of a physical part building layer by layer. The description of various possibilities of physical models building, material and building time requirements also arepresented. The goal of this article is the comparison of the two mentioned technologies.
