Mechanical properties of PLA matrix based composites filled with nature fibers
Original language description
Biodegradability of PLA based materials is the main reason of its usage. However exists some application were also exists requirement for higher mechanical properties next to biodegradability requirement or price of pure PLA is not profitable according concrete application. In both cases is possible to use nature fibers added to PLA matrix. Nature fibers different types addition to PLA matrix influence research is the intent of this paper. By compounding and granulating is variety of composites with PLAmatrix and nature fibers produced and mechanical tests are performed on samples produced by injection molding. Results are evaluated comparing to properties of pure PLA samples.
