Design and Measurement of The Performance of The Floor Convectors
Original language description
This article focuses on the performance measurement of the floor convector. Three design modifications regarding the outlet flow orientation are discussed in the study. The heat power measurement is based on the mass method. The flow above the convectoris visualized by smoke particles illuminated by a laser sheet. The temperature distribution on the convector heat exchanger is measured using infrared thermography. Hot wire anemometry is used to measure the velocity in different positions of the floor convector. The possible analytical solutions of the convector thermal power and the heat transfer efficiency are discussed. It was published Proceedings of the 8th International Conference on Fluid and Thermal Energy Conversion, Semarang, Indonesia, 2013,8 - 11 November 2013, pp. 1-6. This proceedings was without ISBN or ISSN.
