    The article presents an overview of the development of Digital Holographic Interferometry (DHI), as used for measurements of asymmetric temperature fields in moving pulsatile fluids. The article shows the basic setup for DHI, the method of synchronization, and the method for phase averaging the acquired data. Finally, it shows the method and first results from using tomography to evaluate a 3D temperature field. The presented DHI is based on a modified Twymann-Green setup, in which only one precisely synchronized and triggered CCD is used for 3D measurement.
