Original language description
The paper presents an experimental and theoretical research of composites with elastomeric matrix reinforced by textile structures namely by fabrics made of SMA fibers. Applications are focused on thin inflatable membranes and tubes and on active thin-walled elastomeric plates embedded with hybrid SMA knitted fabrics. Parameters of material models are determined on a basis of experimental measurements and the material models are verified by the comparison of the experimental measurements with numericalsimulations in finite element code.
