Original language description
The paper presents experimental and numerical investigation of the behaviour of samples of conveyor belt made of carbon-black filled rubber reinforced by plain weave textiles. Mechanical properties are investigated in tensile tests with different loadingrates and in relaxation tests, the coefficient of friction is also measured. The storage and loss moduli and phase angle dependency on different amplitudes and frequencies are determined by strain controlled dynamical mechanical analysis. The temperature dependence of dynamic and tribological behaviour of belt is also investigated. The FE simulations of the elastomeric composite response in mechanical loading are presented.
