1. Experimental research using High Performance GMAW on mild steel, using 2 two-component and 2 three-component shielding gases. 2. New research was carried out, focused on testing of Al alloy for increasing of process penetration and productivity. Preliminary MIG welded tests using argon and two Ar-He shielding gases were performed to reach deep penetration action, similar to short-spray process on steel.. Efficiency and productivity of all welds performance were evaluated.
