Result description

Study of the mechanical properties of the polyurethane foams (such as comfortable filler of automobile seats) is important for a comprehensive understanding of the response of this nonlinear viscoelastic material. It is very essential for their comparison with other materials, because the current trend of development is pushing to find a new low-energy and low-density material. Two foams from the automobile seats with a different densities were assayed, under multiaxial loading for the several differentclimatic conditions.
