The Effect of Process Liquids on Tool Life during Milling
Original language description
There is currently a market with a wide range of process fluids for machining. One of the important properties is the effect on tool life and surface quality when machining steel. Each process fluid has different effects on the above parameters [2], [6].By selecting a suitable liquid we can achieve better surface quality and increase tool life, thereby reduce the cost of production [2], [6]. The aim of this paper is to compare the influence of process fluids on tool life in face milling. The paper publishes the results of experiments that were conducted at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering TU in Liberec.
