Influence of carbon fiber fraction on plaster composities ability to electromagnetic shielding
Original language description
This paper studies size of electromagnetic shielding in plaster composites, using different volume fractions of carbon fiber. The base matrix of the the composite was a special thermal-insulation plaster ThermoUM Xtra. Into the plaster, as reinforcing and simultaneously shielding element carbon microfibers with a length of 7 mm were added. Test samples were made at three different volume fractions and also on a base plaster for possibilities of their comparison. The measurement results show that the electromagnetic shielding grows with increasing fiber content in the plaster composite in the tested ratio almost linearly.
