Original language description
The paper deals with description of dynamic behaviour of the mechanical system of the needle bar on the basis of mathematical modelling. The equation of motion of the system which is a part of a sewing machine are described by Lagrange equations of second order. Contacts between individual parts of the system are described using boundary conditions based on the geometry of the mechanical system. The equations were solved using the software Matlab Simulink. The knowledge obtained from the dynamic analysis can be used in the optimisation of the mechanical system of the needle bar.
