Original language description
Perpendicular-laid nonwoven is widely used for acoustic comfort in the automobile industry. Acoustic properties of perpendicular-laid nonwovens have been studied by researchers. Yang et al. investigated the sound absorption behaviour and thermal properties of perpendicular-laid nonwovens and stated that sound absorption of perpendicular-laid nonwoven strongly correlated with their thermal resistance. The major objective of this study is to understand the effect of manufacturing techniques and structure parameters on sound absorption property.
