For diesel engines, the parameters of the basic parts of the fuel injection system directly affect the fuel injection pressure and thus affect the injection spray and mixture formation process. The paper presents the results of simulated experimental research conducted on 4CHE-Yanmar fishing boat diesel engines by AVL Boost/Hydsim software by comparing simulation data with "standard" data set. The standard data set is determined when the basic parameters of the fuel injection system of the engine are new or after the repair completed.
