Comparison of the number of repetitions on the influence of Kruskal-Wallis comparison evaluation in genetic algorithms for FT10 and different crossing probabilities
Original language description
Genetic algorithms are suitable to solve a large field of problems. During development, it is necessary to be able to compare the quality of different algorithms. The main motivation of this article is to discuss the necessary number of repetitions of the experiment to finda statistical representative quality comparison of different algorithms. The Kruskal-Wallis method was used for statistical comparison of VSP using the makespan. The change of optimization algorithm behaviour was done using different values of crossover probability.
