The article describes the issue of tests of gearboxes. The article defines the conditions for mounting the gearbox in the frame of the Powertrain device. The sources of additional dynamic stress are vibrations of the engine and gearbox. The tested gearbox must be stressed in the same way as the gearbox in the vehicle. The mounting of the gearbox in the frame can be verified by measuring the vibrations in a real vehicle.
