    The article deals with the description of the function of the impact mechanism of the impact wrench with the functional mechanism „Single hammer” and the calcu-lation of the dynamic forces acting on the mechanism together with the determina-tion of the contact pressures between individual parts of the mechanism. Part modeling was done in Creo Parametric. The design of the mechanism and deter-mination of dynamic forces was carried out in the Creo Parametric - Mechanism add-on module and the determination of contact pressures in the Creo Parametric - Simulate module.
