Original language description
Yarn axis in textiles is modelled by a lot of small cylinders and then visualized by virtual reality systems, for example VRML. Typical textile structures ranging from 1D to 3D both ideal and real can be visualized in 3D space. The system allows to display many periods of structure can be visualized by this mean. Main advantage of this system among other approaches is its simplicity, complexity and flexibility.
