Verification of MH-model of Porous Media Fluid Flow

Result description

In the contribution, performed tests of model of porous media flow and their results are described, including limitations of input values. We deal with a problem of unsteady flow with phreatic surface, which is solved using MH FEM and Rothe's method. Ineach time step, non-linear problem is solved. Its solution is approximated by an iterative scheme. First, a non-linear relation describing the contact zone is analysed, aimed for setting suitable parameters. Next, tests of model problems of steady and unsteady flow are computed. In the first case, a calibration function for solving unevenness of rain dotation was set. In the second case, the relation between contact zone parameters and time and space discretization on a one-dimensional problem was tested.
