SIMONA 2006 is the 3rd workshop on simulation, modelling and numerical analysis at the Technical University of Liberec, following the last meeting in September 2003. The focus of SIMONA 2006 is put on the presentation of original research work and the exchange of professional experience in the following fields: modelling of groundwater processes, modelling of coupled THMC processes, numerical methods in environmental and geotechnical problems, applied numerical mathematics. The aim of the workshop is acontact of mathematicians and numerical code developers on one side and hydrogeologists and engineers as model users on the other side.

SIMONA 2006 je 3. workshop o modelování, simulaci a numerické analýze. Zaměření je na původní výsledky výzkumu a výměnu zkušeností v těchto oborech: modelování procesů v podzemních vodách, modelování sdružených THMC procesů, numerické metody v geotechnických aplikacích a aplikované numerická matematika.
