Hybrid systems has recently evolved to a very important research topic in the field of system and control theory. Many approaches to control of hybrid systems were published but their testing is usually limited to simulation at best. This paper introduces a laboratory plant that can be used as a benchmark for testing of various approaches to hybrid control. The plant structure is outlined together with its mathematical model and proposals of various hybrid control experiments that can be performed withthis plant are given
