Application of the dual-porosity model on the real contaminant movement problem
Original language description
We took advantage of a model combining two basic approaches of a real solid rock media substitution. The first is an equivalent porous media and the second a double continuum. We focused on the old ecological load in the heterogeneous fractured media with a distinctive layer structure. We decided to describe the area by a several layers of equivalent porous media complemented with double continuum which take into account a fractured structure influence. On the basis of known hydraulic parameters on thelocality the corresponding input parameters of hydraulic conductivity and boundary conditions were set up. The flow problem was solved with the result corresponding to the well-known data, e.g. water table height in several positions. Than we obtained the data of contamination source spatial distribution, the controlled concentrations and total amount of contaminant in the area which are used for initial condition setting. The spatial concentration distribution in time is than computed.
